Privacy Policy
How PlainApp handles your data.
Last updated: March 2026
Overview
PlainApp is a local-network application. All communication happens directly between your Android device and your browser over Wi-Fi. No data is routed through external servers.
Data Collection
PlainApp does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, files, messages, or contacts to external servers. All data remains on your device and local network. We have no access to your information.
Cookies & Storage
The PlainApp website uses only essential browser storage for preferences. The Android app stores settings locally on your device. No tracking cookies or third-party cookies are used.
Analytics
We use anonymized, aggregate analytics on the website only to understand traffic patterns. No personal data or usage details from the app are collected or shared with third parties.
Third-Party Services
PlainApp does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services within the app. The website may link to external resources such as GitHub and Google Play, which have their own privacy policies.
Data Retention
Since all app data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. We have no server-side data to retain or delete on your behalf.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page with the new terms and the last-updated date.
